Good Things Emotional Healing Journal Addiction

This book takes a smarter approach at beating addiction. Elisabeth Davies identifies addiction as a compulsive and unwanted habit. The book empowers people to manage these behaviors. If the reader can control the behavior, they can then choose to continue or not. Quitting anything is so abrupt, its like ripping the security blanket from a child; it creates insecurities and anxiety. Teaching new ways to cope with desires and compulsive thoughts is something that takes time. The reader can work at their own pace with no outside pressure. The behavior needing change was built a over time; so it may take some time to change. This book gives the reader the time and the results they need in the privacy they may be looking for. Great book, Great approach!.

AMAZING

As a former Addiction Counselor, I would welcome a workbook that is very personal, and informative as well as very client oriented. The exercises are client friendly, and produce self thought in all areas of the recovery process. When a client has something such as this workbook to refer to during their recovery, it makes an already tough process a little easier and with greater chance of success.
I would recommend anyone in this field to get this book and share it with their clients.

Excellent

I've completed this book 3 times now and it is amazing. I've done extensive counseling with the author, Elisabeth Davies, and I cannot describe in words what Elisabeth does. She is very knowledgeable and has dedicated her life's work to helping others. This book is cognitive behavioral based and spiritual based to help people recover step by step from their addictions or struggles (as it did me). Elisabeth does hold a Masters in Psychology and has done her research and first hand experience so this book is factual. I recommend this book for anyone who is looking to better their life. Also, I recommend getting in touch with the author as she is one of the nicest and most helpful people on the face of earth.
